Day One - Sydney to Mexico City

I’m sitting in the Los Angles airport typing from and Internet terminal. The flight from Sydney to LAX seemed really long, i was wedged in a center seat and thats never a good thing with my shoulders. I did have good leg room though cause i was sitting on an exit door right next to the toilets… yeah say no more…

The in flight movies were reasonable, we had Bridget Jones - Edge of Reason, The Incredibles, The Village, Princess Diaries 2. So that really helped to pass the time, as well as reading. Thanks Sarah the surf mag was a killer idea… i’ve read it cover to cover including the ads!

I’m waiting to board the next flight to mexico city on flight UA979, it looks like its going to be another full flight. The baggage checking seemed to go Ok. Oh.. yeah United Airlines charged me $65 for my surf board!! asha didn’t have to pay anything with QANTAS.

The weather here in Los Angles by the way is a balmy sunny day… a great day for a cruise down the hollywood boulevard or a trip out to Malibu… Cya gotta go my Internet time is running out!!

Weekend Away to Ballina

South Balina Beach We took a trip away this weekend for a wedding in Murwillumbah, and stayed in South Ballina for two nights. The photo’s are of the beach near the caravan park we stayed in. I’m still getting used to my Nikon D70, but i’m super happy with the results so far. View Photo’s.

Michael & Sasha were married 26th of February 2005. The ceremony was held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Murwillumbah at 2:00pm. The reception followed at 6:00pm at the Murwillumbah Golf Club. It was a beautiful wedding, Michael & Sasha looked great together and really happy, so the best wishes to them for the many wonderful years ahead.

Sydney City Photos

I was down in sydney on the weekend attending a convention. So i thought it would be a good opportunity to test out my new Nikon D70. The camera is fantastic and i’m thoroughly enjoying the learning curve and the professional results i get when using this camera compared to anything else i’ve used. So if you in the market for a digital SLR camera be sure to check out the Nikon D70. Here are the shots that made the cut, more to come later when i take them!

Cruising the Hastings River

Port Macquarie Harbour Sunset

Lastnight was spent cruising the Port Macquarie river, it was a beautiful calm summers evening just perfect for taking sunset pictures of the marina area. View more photos

About 60-70 people gathered onboard the Port Venture for an engagement party. The music was loud and everyone on the dance floor was hyped, for those that couldn’t cope with the noise stayed on the lower deck and talked.

On the return journey back to port ten dolphins surfed the bow of the ship, they truly are a graceful creature. I think they get as much enjoyment from entertaining us as we do watching them play.
