We are staying near Heathrow airport so it’s a bus and train into London central for a whirlwind walking tour of London, including Piccadilly circus and the beautiful shops of Regent and Carnaby streets. Mark and Justin have a beer on top at ‘The Glassblower’ an ancient old pub near Piccadilly Circus. Despite being footsore, we are off to do more walking around St James Park, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abey, Big Ben, Westminster Bridge and many grand old homes.
London is great, extremely busy even on a Saturday afternoon, very expensive, not somewhere we wanted to spend too much time!
