You will Learn Spanish

We didn’t go witnessing today. We had another cruisy day in Puerto Escondido. We had two surfs, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

… we had two surfs …

The book study we attended was on wednesday at 6pm, it was good a study about Jehovah’s “lealtud” (loyalty), it was in spanish which i’m still finding difficult to understand but it’s definitely getting better.

Afterward we were invited back to a brothers casa (house). They gave us some Frescas Naranja (Orange Juice) and Cajetta which is a goats milk candy spread (Leche de Cabra – Milk of Goat), it was similar to nutella but more like a treacle.

The evening turned into a Spanish lesson for both Ash and I, it definitely is one of the best ways to learn spanish or any language for that matter. It was kind of funny in a way they took us under their wing and instructed us till we had it right. The trilling of the RRR’s is the hardest bit for me… for some reason it just doesn’t happen past a certain hour at night.

Splash, can you tell us a little bit more about the food? Is it really spicy? Is it easy to get fresh produce? How do they drink their coffee (aside from out of a cup – said it before Mitch added it, dah!)? Love Ang.xxx
