My all time favorite surf movie is a Sietas & Olas (oh… and endless summer). This movie is truly an inspiration, in fact so much so a good mate and i are off on a journey around the world on March 23rd. This movie is about three guys who travel the mexican coast in search of lonely perfect waves and they strike gold on every turn.
So its something i’ve have always dreamed of doing traveling the world looking for surf, meeting people and leaving some of the cares behind for a good few months. We are going to places like Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Venuzuela, Peru, Chile, England, India, Napal (if we can get in… political unrest threatens to foil our plans) and China.
We are backpacking the journey and taking our surf boards as well. I’m already so loaded up just thinking of all the stuff i’ve gotta take for example my camera and equipement (Nikon D70), Surfboard and books. Thats the part i can’t get over why am i taking so many books?. What books i here you ask? Well i’ve got some learn spanish books and we are taking lonley planet books so we don’t get lost.
Just in case you were wondering what Sietas & Olas means, well its means Sleep & Waves… sounds too good to me. And on that note Adios Amigos!.
